Hello all!! Today's post will showcase our new range of protection items!! It's always a good idea to protect yourself, your home and those you love and over the years, those on various paths found different ways and materials to do so (there will be more in-depth posts coming soon!!). Our range of items may be limited but a limited selection is better than no selection at all!! Here's what we have to offer.....


Rusty Nails

Ever noticed that all the nails in the shop are galvanised? Well here at True Souls, we have a large supply of rusty ones!! These nails are made of iron. Iron has long been known to ward away evil and it's easier to carry a nail around than it is to carry a sword. Rusty nails are great to add to spell jars, pouches, alters and spells/rituals. Use caution as the nails are sharp and wash your hands after handling!!


Rose Thorns

Rose Thorns can be used to boost protection spells and deflect negative energy. The can also be used in bad habit banishing spells. Since roses are often used for love spells, thorns can be added to them as a way of protection e.g not sure how a possible encounter will go? Add a few thorns to protect yourself and your heart. You can also use a rose thorn to carve symbols into wish candles. Use caution, they're sharp!!


Nettle Leaves

Everyone at one time or another has encountered a nettle. They're everywhere (at least in the UK!) but, believe it or not, they actually have magical uses. They can be used for:

- Binding
- Courage
- Healing
- Protection
- Banishing

Be careful when handling nettles of any kind. If you get stung, find yourself a dock leaf and rub it on the sting site. Picture below 👇🏻




Mirror Shards

Although breaking a mirror is considered bad look, mirror shards are quite useful. They can be used in binding magicks, to trap energy and to reflect energy. The latter being the most useful as it can reflect negative energy back back to the one who sent it to you, even if they did so without thinking. Be very careful with mirror shards and mirrors in general!!
