Crystal Wednesday - Crystal Grids
What is a Crystal Grid?
Crystal Grids are a powerful manifestation and healing tool. Crystals are placed in a geometric shape (usually on a board or a cloth) and arranged in a specific way that best focuses their energies to boost your manifestations. Crystal Grids can also include spices, herbs, candles, flowers and other tools.
How to make a Crystal Grid
You can either make a Grid yourself or buy a pre made one. Creating one yourself can take a lot of time as you need to select the best arrangement, the right combination of Crystals and other tools and the right geometric shape. To make one yourself, follow these steps:
1. What is the grid for?
You need to ask yourself what is the purpose of this Grid?
Are you using it for healing and if so, what are you trying to heal?
Are you using it for manifesting and if so, what are you trying to manifest?
Once you've decided on the purpose of your Grid, you can move onto step 2.
2. Selecting a shape
Each geometric shape has it's own specific energy. As there are loads of different shapes, it's best to research which shapes will work best with your intended purpose, to narrow it down a bit. The size of the shape can also affect the size of the Grid. If you're just starting out, stick to a smaller shape. As you get more confident, you can gradually expand the size of your Grids. Once you've narrowed your search down, go through the designs until one of them calls to you. You don't have to have a fancy board or a cloth. You can either draw the shape yourself or you can print it out.
3. Picking/ arranging your Crystals/tools
Once you have your shape, you can start to gather your Crystals/tools. It's best to use Crystals/tools that correspond with your purpose and that work well with eachother. I suggest you cleanse everything before you start your arrangement. Once you're satisfied with what you've selected, you can begin your arrangement. (If you've bought one or are following a guide, follow the instructions as best as you can). Finding the best arrangement can take a few tries but keep going until everything feels right! Listen to your Crystals and your tools, they can help you if you get stuck.
4. Activate your Grid
Once everything is in place and you're satisfied, it's time to activate your Grid! The best way to do this is with the power of your voice. Something along the lines of:
"I activate this Grid and my intentions. May (insert intentions here) come to fruition."
If all goes well, that means that your Grid is a success! If not, try again until you get it right. If the placement is correct, it may be best to try activating it at a different date and time, maybe one that better corresponds with your intentions. Don't be discouraged if it takes a few tries to get right, Crystal Grids aren't an easy tool to use but once you get the hang of it, their power will come in handy for when it's needed!!
