Hello all!! This week's Crystal Wednesday is Sodalite!!


Sodalite is part of the Sodalite group of minerals. Sodalite is associated with the month of December, the planet Jupiter and the Moon, the Throat and 3rd Eye chakras, Water, Air and is the gemstone of Sagittarius. The Sodalite pictured above has been tumbled.



The Meaning Of...

Sodalite takes its meaning from the Ancient Greek for Salt Stone. The spiritual meanings of Sodalite are:

- Wisdom
- Creativity
- Cosmic Beauty
- Clarity



Healing Properties

Sodalite can:

- Calm the mind
- Balance emotions
- Help with Panic Attacks
- Balance metabolism
- Boost the immune system
- Help with calcium deficiencies
- Help with vocal/throat injuries
- Ease digestive disorders
- Cool a fever
- Lower blood pressure
- Help with insomnia
- Ease anxiety
- Help with healing from trauma
- Ease guilt
- Help with phobias
