Hello all!! Our next Which Witch post is about Weather Witches!!


What is a Weather Witch?

A Weather Witch is a blanket term for Witches who draw their power from the weather and its many different representations. Some Weather Witches draw their power from any weather but there are some that feel more powerful in certain weather conditions. Let's take a look at the subcategories of Weather Witchcraft:


- Sun/Solar Witch. Sun Witches draw their energy from the Sun. Sunrise and Sunset can signify the waxing and waning of energies, with powers peaking at Solar Noon. The Sun is essential to all life on Earth and these energies can give a significant boost to benevolent intentions. If you feel stronger with the Sun then this path might be the one for you. - Rain Witch. I briefly covered Rain Witchery in part 2 (Link at the bottom). I couldn't find any specific books on Rain Witchery so it's best to conduct your own research. I would also add Hail Witchery to this category too.


- Snow/Ice Witch. As Snow and Ice are different forms of Water, they also fall under Water Witchery. I couldn't find any specific books for Snow and Ice either. As not every part of the world can have Snow/Ice, my guess is that these practices are localised to areas prone to cold weather. 


- Storm Witch. From my understanding from what I could find (which wasn't much unfortunately), Storm Witchery harnesses the chaotic energy of a Storm. How this energy is used is up to the user. You must exercise caution when using the energy of a Storm. Listen to your local experts and follow local guidelines. Do not endanger yourself and others. 


- Cloud Witch. Cloud Witchery can also come under Air Witchery (also in part 2). Different Cloud formations bring different energies. I couldn't find any specific books for Cloud magic but I could find lots of books for Cloud formations.
