Cosmic Witch
A Cosmic Witch draws their power from the cosmos. The main tools of a Cosmic Witch are:
- Astrology
- Horoscopes
- Celestial energies
- Zodiac signs
- Retrogrades
The cosmos is a vast expanse with potentially infinite energies. You can draw power from specific celestial bodies like a comet, black hole, eclipse, a galaxy, a retrograde or any other possible celestial event or body. Different celestial events bring different energies and powers that a Cosmic Witch will know which energies will boost what Spell/ritual. Cosmic Witchery can also be subdivided into the following:
- Astrology Witch
- Celestial Witch
- Retrograde Witch
- Zodiac Witch
Depending on if you wish to specialise in a certain aspect of Cosmic Witchery. This can also tie in with Lunar, Star and Sun Witchery as the Moon, Sun and Stars are celestial bodies. Unfortunately for the Cosmic Witches, the Cosmos is out of physical reach but once you've attuned yourself to the cosmos, you should be able to feel it whenever you need it. If you're drawn to space and/or astrological events and can feel the difference during Retrogrades, then there's a lot that the path of the Cosmic Witch is the one for you. Further reading 👇🏻
Divination Witch
There are many kinds of divination throughout the world so it's no surprise that some Witches choose to center their practice around them. A Divination Witch tends to focus on fortune telling, symbolism and reading the energies of others whilst using magical tools e.g Tarot, runes, bones, pendulums and the like. Whilst some may favour a specific method of divination, others will use various methods as well as recieving messages from the spirit realms, deities and dreams.
A Divination Witch can note the meaning of the slightest thing and pick up on the details that many consider unimportant. Intuition is a key part of Divination. As intuition is a personal thing, a Divination Witches practice is also very personal, for example, one Divination Witch may feel more intuitive in the morning whilst another may feel the most intuitive on a Full Moon.
If you looked for shapes in the clouds as a child, frequently experience déjà vu or look for/find meaning in everything, there's a chance that you can be a Divination Witch! Further reading 👇🏻
Crystal Witch
The clue is in the title. A Crystal Witch has a deep connection to Crystals, their properties and their uses. They know what to wear, when to wear, where to wear and where to place a Crystal to get it's optimum energies. Crystals are the most prevalent tool in a Crystal Witches collection, with water safe Crystals being used in spellwork and Rituals. As a Crystal Witch, once a Crystal is in your possession, you will instinctively know when and how to cleanse it and how it would like to be used. Since Crystals come from the Earth, a Crystal Witch may also have a strong connection to Earth magicks/energies. You may instinctively know what Crystals to combine to make a Crystal grid for any given use as a Crystal grid can give a huge surge of power to a working.
If you collected random rocks as a child, have a large and slightly awe inspiring collection of Crystals or wonder into a Crush shop and pick Crystals based on intuition rather than the actual perpose of the Crystal, chances are that you are a Crystal Witch!! Further reading 👇🏻
I intentionally made this post a shortish one as there are many more paths to cover and I want the posts to vary in length, but I also want to make sure that I can give each path a decent overview, which is hard when there are loads to cover in one post!!
