Hello all!! We have some new product arrivals that we'd like to share with you! I will state this several times throughout the post because it is important: NO ANIMALS ARE HARMED FOR PROFIT!



Fly in a bottle
This unfortunate Fly passed in a window during a heatwave and was removed for this purpose only after permission was granted.

Flies are a symbol of adaptation and can also represent Prosperity as they are attracted to sweet things and food in general. They are resourceful and can often see and sence things that we humans cannot. 

Deities associated with Flies are:

- Beelzebub
- Baal
- Uatchit
- Mercury
- Hermes

Moth in a bottle
This poor Moth fell victim to heatwaves we had this summer and was only removed for this purpose after permission was given.

Moths have a deep history with magical practices. They are said to bring messages from other realms and are spirits of nature, they also represent wisdom and intuition. They are associated with important changes, emotional growth and expansion, often appearing to us around these times. Hurting a White Moth is ill advised as White Moths are said to be spirits of family members who have past on.

Deities associated with Moths are:

- Itzpapalotl (Aztec deity)
- Luna

Bee in a bottle
This poor Bee was another causality of the summer heatwaves, unfortunately passing on before they could be saved. This Bee was removed for this purpose only after permission was given. 

Bees symbolise brightness, community and personal power, the can also represent reaching a new destination as following a Bee is said to guide you to a new destination in life. Druids associated the Bee with celebration, the Goddess and, of course, the Sun. 

Deities associated with the Bee are:

- Melissa
- Aristaeus
- Cupid
- Ra
- Cupid
- Aphrodite
- Vishnu
- Pan

Crow Feathers
These Crow Feathers are naturally shed from a local murder. Permission is gathered before gathering and thanks is always given. The Feathers are cleaned with water and without chemicals.

Crows have numerous meanings and associations spanning several continents, cultures and religions (more on this in our animal symbolism series coming soon!). Feathers are specially associated with the element of Air andand are used as a point of focus is Spell casting and divination. They are also used to help rid a person of unwanted feelings.

No Crows are harmed for their Feathers!


Black Cat Fur
Our Black Cat Fur comes from the natural shed of the cutie pictured above! 

Cats, Black Cats in particular, have a long association with Witches are Witchcraft and are characterised as the most popular Familiar. Black Cat Fur can be used in ritual/Spell work and in potions/oils. Black Cats are associated with protection, luck, independenceindependence and discerning information.

Crab Claw in a bottle
This Crab Claw came from a Crab that washed ashore during a storm and the Claw was all that survived the seagullsseagulls. This Claw was removed for this purpose only after permission was granted.

Crabs (in various forms) have strong ties to protective magicksmagicks and can be added to Witch Jars/BottlesBottles and altarsaltars. Crabs help finding direction and searching deep within yourself. They are associated with luck, perseverance, intuition and sensitivity.

This Crab was NOT hurt for it's Claw. 


Spider Egg Sack in a bottle 
This is an empty Egg Sack harvested after last year's younglings made their way into the world. This Sack was harvested only after permission was given. 

Spiders have their place in various mythologies a magicks. They are associated with rebirth, patience, feminine energy andand the shadow self. They are also said to be the Weavers of life's fate. 

Deities associated with Spiders are:

- Neith
- Ishtar
- Arachne
- Minerva
- Anansi
- Hopi
- Grandmother Spider (Cherokee)
- Arianrhod

No Spiders where hurt during harvesting of this Egg Sack!

Profits from these products go directly to local charities such as ethical shelters and sanctuaries. Profits from the Bee will go towards creating more Bee friendly/safe areas and providing food for them.
