Tarot Tuesday - Augmented Celtic Cross Spread

Hello all!! For today's Tarot Tuesday, we're talking a break from the Major Arcana and going for an advanced Spread: The Augmented Celtic Cross!

The traditional Celtic Cross Spread has one card in each section with one card overlapping and sideways over the centre card (I will cover this later!) This Spread has 3 in each section totalling 27 cards so I'll break it down into sets of 3. I've also colour coded each section. This is a great Spread for getting a more comprehensive answer.

Let's start with the PURPLE section. The first 3 cards represent your current situation in regards to your question. These will give you an overview of what's currently going on and how it's impacting you.

The second set of 3, the BLACK section, is a likely future for what's to come depending on how you follow the advice of the cards, if any of the cards are inverted, it means that you need to be careful with your actions.

The third section, ORANGE, is the immediate past that has lead to the current situation you now find yourself in. You need to learn from and understand the past to move forward in the present.

Section 4, BROWN, is what goals you want to head towards. You need to consult the black section for advice on how to reach those goals.

Section 5, LIGHT BLUE, will highlight any underlying causes that have lead you to where you are now.

Section 6, GREEN, is all about you. It should highlight your traits (good and bad) and give you advice on how to carry forward.

Section 7, PINK, will talk about your friends, family and any other supports or lack thereof about you. Taking note of this should guide you towards your goals and tell you who will and will not be there for you.

Section 8, RED, will denote your hopes and fears. It'll tell you how to reach your hopes and also tell you what's going to get in the way.

And the least section, YELLOW, is overall advice that'll tie each section together and hopefully help you get your answer.

As this is a large Spread, I'd suggest making notes on each section as you go along so you can make sense of everything at the end and avoid confusion.

I hope you've been this post, I tried to keep it as simple as possible (mainly to avoid confusing myself!) Next week, we'll resume our wander through the Major Arcana!

Blessings,
