Crystal Wednesday - Black Obsidian

Hello all!! Today's Crystal Wednesday is a personal favourite of mine: Black Obsidian!



Black Obsidian is an Igneous rock that's formed when lava rapidly cools down which leads to minimal Crystal growth. Black Obsidian isn't particularly associated with any month but is associated with, Saturn, Pluto, the Root and Third Eye chakras, Earth, Fire and is considered to be a gemstone of both Sagittarius and Scorpio. The Black Obsidian pictured above are Arrow Head shaped.



The Meaning Of...

The meaning of Black Obsidian is cleansing (particularly Auras), protection and mystery.



Healing Properties

Black Obsidian can be used to help:

- Digestive problems
- Draw out infections
- Arthritis
- Cramps
- Grief
- Depression
- Lower back pain
- Balance
- Feet related conditions

 Ancestral Communication and Work. Hi Guys, It's me again, as this is work that I have been actively doing, and Cat and I agreed that I would do this post for you. It seems to fit in well with the season.
