Hello all! Today's post will outline the start of a new series which will be covering Symbols in Witchcraft!


Since we have a series dedicated to the Symbolism of Animals (I haven't forgotten!), it makes sense that we have a series discussing the Symbols of Witchcraft, what they're used for and their history. 

However, I won't be including Runes in this series as Runes are a completely different subject all together and will be requiring separate posts of their own!

I will do my best to cover as many Symbols as possible, in as much detail as possible, starting with some of the more recognisable ones. It is also important to note that Sigils will be covered in a separate post as they can be quite complex. 

I already have a few Symbols on my list and am adding more as I find them. This series will mainly cater to new Witches who are just starting out and are looking for information to start their craft as Witchcraft isn't something that you can just dive into unprepared, if you don't know what you're doing you will end up with a disaster.

I'm going to try and plan this series so that it flows and makes sense. There will be time between posts as I will have to decide what Symbol will be next and research said Symbol as thoroughly as I can. In the meantime, if you can think of any Symbols that you would like to see featured in this series, let me know!

I am aware that we have quite a few series and fixtures all ready, some of which I have slightly neglected (sorry Animal Symbolism!) but I will be working my way through them, albeit gradually. Next week, we will have a Which Witch post and a possible Animal Symbolism post, I still have to decide which Animal to cover next, I have a few ideas so keep an eye out!

As it's Halloween/Samhain next Sunday, the following weeks posts will be as themed as possible as my favourite time of the year approaches!


I hope this post has given you a sufficient outline for the coming week/weeks! I will try to stay on top of things! Tarot Tuesday will return within the Major Arcana and I have an idea for Crystal Wednesday and Flora Friday with Sunday being earmarked for our Samhain post so, Monday, Thursday and Saturday will be surprises!


Now is also the time to start keeping your pets inside, especially Black Cats!

Sigil Making - Pictorial Method 2

Hello all!! We're continuing with Sigils today with another Pictorial Method!! This method has similarities to our first pictorial method, however, this method revolves around the Lo Shu Grid . This grid was invented during the time of Chinese Emperor Yu and every row, vertical, diagonal and horizontal, all equal 15. So, let's get to the method.....
