Hello all!! Today's topic is something that I've only recently come across and that is Veiling!



What is Veiling?

Veiling is a term for when a Pagan, Wiccan or other Witchy person covers their head/hair with a specific piece of material that has been designated as a Veil.



What can I use as a Veil?

You can use any of the following:

- Headscarf
- Bandana
- Scarf
- Hat
- Hood on a specific item of clothing

Or any head covering you feel comfortable using!



How do I Veil?

From what I can gather, you don't need to do an elaborate ritual (unless you want to!) all you have to do is:

- Cleanse your chosen garment

- Set intentions with said garment

- Wear your Veil



Why do people Veil?

There are a number of reasons, including:

- They want to
- Connection to a Deity/a Deity offering
- A spiritual reminder/symbol
- Protection/Cover for the Crown Chakra
- Grounding
- Protection/Shielding
- A reminder to strengthen/nurture your mind
- Warding off negativity/negative spirits



Do I have to Veil/Veil all the time?

The answer to both is no. If you're not comfortable with having something on your head or don't feel the need to Veil, then you you don't have to!

Some people may only Veil during specific times like for a Ritual or Sabbat. Again, this is a personal choice.

Hello all!! We're continuing with Sigils today with another Pictorial Method!! This method has similarities to our first pictorial method, however, this method revolves around the Lo Shu Grid . This grid was invented during the time of Chinese Emperor Yu and every row, vertical, diagonal and horizontal, all equal 15. So, let's get to the method.....
