Emporiblog - What's In Your Cupboard?

Hello all!! In this post I'm going to outline a new mini series that also fits in with Budget Witchcraft. For this series we will be looking at What's In Your Cupboard and seeing what those ingredients are hiding!!

Yet another series?

Yes I know, there's a lot ongoing and some announced and as yet unstarted but bare with me, I'm getting there! I need to plan a lot in advance for this month so I should hopefully be able to make a start and continue everything 🤞🏻

What is the point of this series?

The point of this series is to spread knowledge and to take us back to one of the basics of Witchcraft. The basis of Witchcraft used to be use what you have and what's available to you. You don't have to have a million herbs and crystals to be a Witch, all you need is yourself and what's around you!!

On the knowledge side of things, you may be able to discover some hidden gems lurking in your cupboard! What you may think is just a random herb that goes with your favourite dish, may not only have a reason for complimenting your food, but may also have a miriad of other uses both culinary and crafty!

How will we do this?

For these posts, we'll simply go to our cupboard and see what's in there!

I am also aware that different places have different names for things like America's call Coriander Cilantro so I'll do my best to include as many names as possible so you all can follow along!

We've already uncovered the hidden meaning of Pumpkin Spice but that's not even scratched the surface! If you're curious about what's in your cupboard, look out for our posts or, if you're really curious about about something in particular, send us a recommendation, especially if you have something in your cupboard that we normally can't get here in England!! This counts for those of you in Ireland, Scotland and Wales too!

Blessings,
