Crystal Wednesday

Hello all! We're having an informal Crystal Wednesday today to talk about your favourite Crystal!

Do I have to have a favourite Crystal?

No! First and foremost, you don't have to have a favourite, like Crystals or even use Crystals to practice Witchcraft!

Can I have more than one favourite?

Yes! As there can be multiple variations of a Crystal (Quartz) and multiple Crystals that belong to a mineral family, you can absolutely have multiple favourites!

How can a Crystal be my favourite?

There are multiple ways in which a Crystal can be your favourite, including any combination of those listed below:

- Colour. A Crystal can be your favourite because of its colour/colouring or because it's the same as your favourite colour

- Shape. You might be drawn to a specific Crystal because of its shape e.g Grape Agate or Pyrite

- Name. The name of a Crystal can make it your favourite, especially if it has a unique name or you like the way it sounds

- Birth Stone. This is a classic reason for a Crystal to be your favourite and a completely valid reason!

- History. Some Crystals have interesting histories and links to the past, e.g Amethyst and Lapis Lazuli or have interesting lore attached to them

- Associations. Every Crystal is associated with an element, planet, zodiac, animal, country and Deity and any one of these associations could make you drawn to it

- You're just drawn to it. You can't necessarily explain it but you just love a certain Crystal with no logical explanation but that's ok!

- Its properties. Every Crystal has healing, magical and other physical/metaphysical properties

What's my favourite Crystal?

My favourite is Obsidian! Black and Snowflake. I love the colour/pattern and the way the name sounds. There is also some lore attached to it for an added bonus!

What's your favourite Crystal?

For whatever reason, no matter how small or "silly" you think the reason is, let me know!

I hope you've enjoyed this post! Let us know in the comments what your favourite Crystal is!

Blessings,
