Emporiblog - Festive Announcement

Hello all!! I want to get this out of the way while I remember!


December has well and truly started. A lot of people have already finished their shopping, started their wrapping, sent all their cards and the tree has been up since the last week of November. I however, have done none of these things, I've made a start but I can't wrap to save my life! 

Some places have already seen snow, even parts of Cornwall have had snow and that is a rarity! I haven't seen any where I live but it's definitely cold enough for it! 

Anyway, I digress. The point of this post is to let you know that.....


There will be NO posts on the 25th, 26th and New Year's Day.


Why will there be no posts on these dates?

The answers are as follows:


25th - It's Christmas. Most people will be spending the day with their families or visiting relatives/friends (restrictions permitting) and will probably want to have a day centered around loved ones


26th - People will be recovering from Christmas. Wrapping paper and boxes need to be cleaned up and recycled. Leftovers need to be eaten, for those that aren't recovering from a Christmas food coma and there will be an adult or 2 that will be recovering from a generous helping of Christmas beverages


New Year's Day - New Year's Eve is normally a celebratory occasion for most of the nation and several other parts of the world and some people need New Year's Day to recover, especially if they've stayed up to watch fireworks (hopefully there will be more quieter displays for those who are sensitive to lound noises and pets!)



I'm hoping that everyone can safely spend time with those they want to at these times. 
Until then, I will try to keep the posts as festive as possible!


I know that today's post is a bit short but I have quite a bit to do today!! I'll make up for it next week!

Hello all!! We're continuing with Sigils today with another Pictorial Method!! This method has similarities to our first pictorial method, however, this method revolves around the Lo Shu Grid . This grid was invented during the time of Chinese Emperor Yu and every row, vertical, diagonal and horizontal, all equal 15. So, let's get to the method.....
