Emporiblog - Focus On Yourself

Hello all!! Today we're going to talk about something that doesn't get talked about enough and that is you!

As you know, tomorrow is Valentine's Day and while most people celebrate their relationships, a lot of people forget about the most important relationship of all: the relationship with yourself!

If you don't celebrate Valentine's or think it's a load of nonsense, you can make it a day to focus on yourself!

Here are some things you can do for your self Valentine's:

- Treat yourself!! Things are going to be on offer for the next day or two so why not treat yourself to something, chocolate, clothes, indulge in your hobby etc

- Re-evaluate your relationships with others. Tomorrow would be a good time to think about your relationship with other people, reconnect with old friends and see if your current situation with others is what you want it to be. If not, see how you can change that

- Set boundaries. Boundaries protect us both mentally and physically. A healthy relationship has healthy boundaries that are respected

- Have a relaxing bath/shower. Do the whole treatment, bathbombs, rose petals, candles (use caution), get a fancy body scrub/shampoo, face mask etc. If you don't have a bath, there are shower equivalent of bathbombs out there ....

- Self Love Spells/Spell jars. Tomorrow would be a good time for self love/acceptance energies but be careful that confidence doesn't become arrogance...

- Start healing/Shadow Work. I know that this is something that a lot of people put off but tomorrow would be a good day to either start or try, if you're ready

- Dedicate tomorrow to your Deities/Entities. If you work with Deities and Entities, you can dedicate tomorrow to them and spend the day/alloted time with them

- Read a book. If you have some spare time, pick up a book or start making a dent in that pile of books you have in the corner that you keep adding books to to read later....

- Work on your craft. A persons craft is always changing and evolving, dedicating some time to it every now and then is always a good refresher

- Listen to your body. Listen to what your body wants. Eat what you're craving, have a nap, sit down and watch that show you've been thinking about etc

- Spend time with those you love. If you can't physically be with them, a video/phone call goes a long way. Going through pictures and visiting those who are no longer here counts as well

I think we'll leave this here!! I hope you can enjoy tomorrow no matter what you do or how you celebrate it!

Blessings,
