Hello all!! Today we're going to talk about fruit and veg and how we're going to incorporate them into the blog!!



We all know fruit and veg are important and we all know we should be eating more of them, I myself am guilty of this! But, fruits and vegetables also have properties that mean that they can also be used in Witchcraft, from skins to seeds and pips, every part has some kind of use!!




How are we going to incorporate this into the blog?

Firstly, I will try to incorporate for fruit and veg into Flora Friday. This is mostly to save on yet another series that I have to semi-fulfil and try to work into a time table. In fruit and veg Flora Fridays, I will be including what to do with the actual fruit and veg itself as well as skins, pips, seeds etc so, as a result, these Flora Fridays will be a bit longer to accommodate the extra information.

Secondly, our own human, herbal encyclopedia Kerenza and I will be working together to put together random little posts that pair fruit and veg with herbs. This will mostly focus on the supposed health benefits of said foods and herbs, how they compliment eachother, the magical uses etc. 

I should point out here that neither of us are dietitians so please consult your doctor and a professional before changing your diet!

Lastly, I also want to explore the properties of lesser used fruits and veg. Not everything is available throughout the world and there are also some select places where certain things can grow. I want to make sure that I am as inclusive as possible with this so I will endeavour to list alternatives that are more available/more affordable!



I am very aware that some of you will have food allergies/intolerances/aversions, sensory issues regarding food, different availability and not everyone can afford to buy fresh fruit and veg. I will do my best to make sure everyone is as included as possible. Even if you can't eat them, you may still be able to touch them, which means that you can use them in your craft (I will also include stuff in dried and tinned stuff as that may be more affordable for some.).
