Emporiblog - Which Witch Are You? pt X

Grey Witch
Grey Witchcraft is a blanket term for Witches who perform both beneficial and baneful magicks. A Grey Witch will perform whatever magicks they feel they need to perform at any given time. Balance is key to Grey Witchery as a Grey Witch will need to have an in-depth understanding of whatever magicks they desire to use. Herbs, Flowers, Crystals and almost every ingredient/tool in Witchcraft has both beneficial and baneful uses so having clear, separate notes for each will help avoid confusion and misuse. Grey Witches have no problem delving into the shadows and standing their ground. If you have no quarrel with hexing and are happy practicing beneficial magicks along side it, you could be a Grey Witch!! Further reading 👇🏻
Swamp Witch
Swamp Witchery is a murky cousin of Water Witchery. It focuses, as the name suggests, on the swampy bodys of Water instead of the clearer Waters of the ocean or a lake. Like Grey Witchery, Swamp Witchery also incorporates the baneful side of magick and a Swamp Witch isn't afraid of these magicks as they have learned to work with all aspects of nature and respect all of nature's aspects. Most Swamp Witches are solitary practitioners and are almost always powerful defensive workers. Do not attack a Swamp Witch if you aren't prepared to deal with the consequences. Most of the Swamp Witches tools and ingredients come from their surroundings and they don't go out of their way to acquire things. There is a lot of knowledge in this path so a lot of eclectic knowledge is gained here. If you find the Swamp alluring, don't ignore it's call...
I couldn't find any specific books pertaining to Swamp Witchery so I would recommend doing your own research for this one and learning Water Witchery basics!!
