Hello all!! We have a rather fitting post today as Easter is around the corner and one of the main associations of Easter is Chocolate!!



Love it or hate it, Chocolate is very popular this time of year and even if you don't like Chocolate, you can still use it in your craft! We'll be covering plain white, milk and dark chocolate in this post as well as the general associations of all Chocolate and Cacao nibs.

(For those of you who are vegan/lactose intolerant, this should still apply.)



Milk Chocolate

We're starting with Milk Chocolate because it's my favourite!!


Milk Chocolate is associated with the elements of Water and Earth, the planets Venus and Earth and Libra ♎ and Cancer ♋ as well as the Heart Chakra. The magickal properties of Milk Chocolate are:

- Friendship
- Love/Self Love
- Balance
- Joy
- Raising emotional energies
- Nurturing




White Chocolate

White Chocolate is associated with the element of Water, the planet Venus and Pisces ♓ and Aquarius ♒ as well as the Heart Chakra. The magickal properties of White Chocolate are:

- Friendship
- Joy
- Self Love




Dark Chocolate

Dark Chocolate is associated with the elements of Earth and Fire, the planets Earth and the Moon, Scorpio ♏, Virgo ♍ and Aries ♈ and the Heart and Sacral Chakras. The magickal properties of Dark Chocolate are:

- Grounding
- Prosperity
- Love
- Romance




Cacao Nibs

If you're making your own Chocolate, you'll be using Cacao Nibs (this is a good option if you have dietary requirements and time). 

Cacao Nibs are associated with the element of Fire, the planets Uranus, the Sun and the Earth, Scorpio ♏, Virgo ♍ and the Sacral and Root Chakras. The magickal properties of Cacao Nibs are:

- Prosperity
- Ancestor workings
- Grounding



General Associations

Chocolate as a whole is associated with Feminine energy, hence the association with the plant Venus, with the exception of Dark Chocolate, which I think has more of a Masculine energy. All Chocolate can be used for Workings of:

- Happiness
- Love
- Prosperity
- Positive energy



If you work with Deities/Entities, Chocolate can be used as an offering but you will need to do your own research and communicate with said Deities/Entities first.

Ancestral Work (part 1 )

 Ancestral Communication and Work. Hi Guys, It's me again, as this is work that I have been actively doing, and Cat and I agreed that I would do this post for you. It seems to fit in well with the season.
