Meteor Showers

Hello all!! Today's post is about Meteor Showers and what their magickal correspondences are!!



Meteor Showers fall into Cosmic/Celestial Witchcraft magicks but can be used by any path as a Meteor Shower is the closest thing to space most of us will ever get. There is a lot of Folklore surrounding Meteor Showers as celestial phenomena weren't widely understood until scientific advancements were made. Now that we understand them, we know that Meteors are rocks or metallic bodies that come from outer space and come close to our atmosphere. Meteor Showers happen yearly in some cases and can even be different colours depending on what they're made out of as different chemicals react in different ways when they come into contact with our atmosphere. For example:

- If a Meteor appears to be red, it is comprised of Oxygen and or Nitrogen

- Yellow is iron

- Purple is calcium

- Copper/Bronze is sodium

- Blue is magnesium

Correspondences of Meteors

Meteors can be used for the following:

- Fire Magick

- Cosmic/Celestial/Star Magicks/energy

- Void energy

- Light energy

- Manifestation/Wishing (wish apon a falling star)

- Meteor Water

- Charging


Of course, different Meteor Showers have their own correspondences e.g the Geminids Meteor Shower has strong connections to Gemini ♊.

Hello all! Today's post is kind of a serious one. Looking back through some of our previous posts, I have realised that some of the information that I gave is in fact, incorrect ! This post will hopefully set the record straight. The previous posts will still stand to serve as a reminder to always cross-reference and research thoroughly to avoid the mistakes that I made. Correction 1  ROSEMARY IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR ANY HERB!  Rosemary can only be substituted for herbs that it shares properties with. And, while we're here: - Rose cannot be substituted for any flower. Only the ones it shares properties with - Frankincense and Copal cannot be substituted for any incense/oil/gum resin.
