Emporiblog - Check Your Jars!
If you have Spell Jars of any kind, nows the time to check them and look for the following:
- Have they changed? - This is important if you have put liquid in them or if you haven't looked at them in a while
- Are they damaged? - Damage can occur naturally, depending on materials used or where you leave them e.g in sunlight. If natural damage has been ruled out, it's time to re-do the Jar and up your protections!
- Do I still need this? - It's possible that you no longer need one or more of your Jars. Maybe you've finished your schooling and no longer need Jars that are linked to that or you got the job you want. It's ok to repurpose hard that no longer serve you
If you have Wards or Protections in the form of Jars, give them a check! Make sure they're not damaged and give them a boost if they need it!
Now, if you're a Baneful practitioner (if not and this is not your thing, scroll down) you probably have various concoctions like War Water and some kind of Hex/Curse Water. These are the Baneful cousins of Moon Water and often contain lots of nasty things (I'm having lunch so I won't list examples!). The combination of all of those nasty ingredients will cause a build-up of gases so, Baneful practitioners: BURP YOUR JARS!
Why should I do this? Well, if the gases build up too much, the Jar will explode. Need I say more...
From time to time take your Baneful jars and release the gases by popping the top off quickly. A word of warning: do not do this in a confined and unventilated space! Do it outside because the contents will stink!
