Emporiblog - A Personal Protection Spell

Hello all!! Today, I'm going to share with you my variation of a protection Spell!!

If you're just starting out or just looking for inspiration, this might help!!

(Unfortunately I have no pictures)

Ingredients

For this, I will use:

- 1 candle (black or white, taper or tealight)

- 1 old pen (for carving, I found this works best for me)

- Ground eggshells

- Black Salt

- Rosemary

(Crystals are optional)

Now onto the Spell...

Step 1 - Cleanse

I would normally use incense to cleanse. I would layout my ingredients and use the smoke to cleanse and then cleanse myself and the space

Step 2 - Prep candle

I don't anoint things currently but giving the candle a quick go over with some Moon water wouldn't hurt! I would then carve the candle. If I'm using a tapered or a Spell candle, I would carve the word protection onto it. If I'm using a tealight, I would carve my protection Sigil onto it. I would then place the candle in a holder (if it's a taper/spell I would place a piece of paper with a Sigil underneath the holder)

Step 3 - Arrange the other ingredients

Starting with the black salt, I spread it out in the shape of a pentagram with the candle in the middle. Repeat this with the eggshells and the rosemary. I would then combine the ingredients in a bowl and use combination to form a circle around the pentagram to turn it into a pentacle

Step 4 - The final stage

Now, I would light the candle and either speak my intentions or use a verbal incantation or I would sit with the candle and give it my energy. If I use the verbal method I would speak it 3 times and let the candle burn down. For none verbal, I would keep coming back and sitting with it until it's burnt down

If crystals are used, place one at each point on the outside of the pentacle. If it's a personal protection, I would also make a pentagram with single strands of my hair (I have really long hair so if you have short hair/no hair, you don't need to do this, it's just my personal touch).

For easy clean up, use a tray or put tinfoil down.

I think we'll leave this here!! I hope this can be of use to someone!!

Blessings,
