Tarot Tuesday - Page of Swords

Hello all!! Today's Tarot Tuesday is the Page of Swords!!

The Page of Swords is associated with the element of Air and the planet Mercury (I've also seen Venus and Uranus)

Pictured Above...

The purpose of this section is to help you with your own interpretations.

In the card pictured above, we can see a clothed skeleton with some kind of turban on his head. He is also brandishing a sword and looks ready to defend with it. It looks like there are some small hills in the background as well as some clouds and wind as indicated by the position of his clothing and the lines on the card. There are also 3 more prominent stars with the largest almost aligning with the tip of the sword. We can also see a Cresent moon in the sky

Meaning

An upright Page of Swords is a positive one. It shows positive curiosity that will lead to new, beneficial ideas. These ideas however, will need to be well thought out and not rushed into: every little point and detail needs to be scrutinised. This will be easy to do with your thirst for knowledge and will make the process easier. The thirst for knowledge is also one of your positive traits, just remember not to get too lost in it. Because of these new ideas, you may find that a new way of communication will open up to you, this may be strange at first but embrace it and allow your ideas to come forth

Reversed Meaning

A reversed Page of Swords shows that you value self expression, maybe a little too much as it gets in the way of what you're trying to do and limits your abilities. At this point, you're all talk and mostly no action and the little action you try is haphazard. You are being too hasty and trying to keep up appearances and not trusting your intuition. Take a step back and turn the ego off. You need to find a way to express yourself without being hasty and worsening your situation. Trust your intuition and knowledge. In the words of Treebeard "Don't be hasty."
