Emporiblog - Lemon Hex
This is going to be a loooooooong post so feel free to take a few breaks and notes. Before Hexing, up your protections and refresh your wards, even if it's justified it can still be sent back.
Make sure you know what you are doing and are prepared!
When disposing of Spell work, please be mindful of the Earth and local ecosystems, use biodegradable ingredients where you're able!!
Ok, so, there are several variations of this so I will do my best to cover all bases and you can see what works best for you...
Method 1
You will need:
- 1 Lemon (fresh)
- Picture and/or piece of paper with targets name
- Pins, Needles
- Something to put the Lemon on
On to the Hex...
- Cut Lemon in half, either vertically or horizontally
- Place a folded (preferably away from you) picture and/or name of the target you in the middle of your two halves and put the halves back together
- Speak your intention/incantation as you place pins and needles into your rejoined Lemon to fix the 2 halves together (use as many pins as you like)
- Give your energy to the pin filled Lemon, visualise the Hex working, surrounding and trapping the target
- Place the pin Lemon on a bowl or plate and place it somewhere prominent or, hang it outside
- Feed your Lemon with energy and intention as it rots (bonus- use cursing oil to feed)
- When you feel the Hex is complete, take the pin Lemon and bury it away from you and your property
Method 2
You will need:
- 1 Lemon (fresh)
- Headed pins
- Black cord/thread
On to the Hex...
- Take Lemon and put the pins in, preferably in some sort of easy pattern for step 2 (visualise and intention as pins insert)
- Wrap the cord/thread around the pins in a crisscross pattern (visualise the thread binding the Hex to the target), repeat as many times as you feel necessary
- Take the Lemon to the target's house and hide it on their property, as it withers, so will the target
Only do this if you have access to the target's property, do not trespass!!
Method 3
You will need:
- 1 Lemon (fresh)
- Picture and/or piece of paper with targets name
- 1 black candle
Now onto the Hex...
- Slice Lemon vertically, don't cut all the way through
- Fold up picture/piece of paper away from you and insert into slit whilst saying “(name) will have a sour (insert period of time)“
- Close the slit with black wax and let the Lemon dry up
- Once dried, throw in the bin on the day that the bins get collected so it can be taken away or dispose of away from your property
Method 4
You will need:
- 1 Lemon (fresh or rotten) use precautions if using rotten
- 1 piece of paper with name and Birthday of target or a picture
- Small, Sharp objects
- Spicy ingredients
- Black thread/cord
- Black and Red wax
Now onto the Hex...
- Make a slit in the Lemon
- Write the name of the target and birthday on the paper three times like so (different colours in the photo for visual aid) if you have a photo, skip this step
- Fold the paper/photo away from you and put it into the slit whilst visualising the Hex
- Add your spicy ingredients to the slit, black pepper, chilies, anything hot and spicy that you have on hand, keep visualising as you add
- Seal the slit with black and red wax, visualise the target being sealed in the Hex whilst doing so
- Wrap the black cord/thread around the Lemon as many times as you feel necessary, visualise the target being bound to the Hex
- Stick sharp things in Lemon (broken glass, pins, rusty nails, etc) use caution!! Seal the sharp objects with wax
- Dispose of off property
Note: the more Wax and thread/cord you use, adds more layers to the Spell, making it harder to break
Feel free to combine bits of each method and see what works for you!!
Right, now I've shown you how to Hex with Lemons, you also need to know how to defend against Lemons!!
Here's what you need to do if you feel that you have been unjustly Hexed:
- Cleanse yourself and your property however you feel necessary, I'd also recommend a Cleansing bath/shower
- Up/refresh protections and wards
- Return to sender!! (Check out our post!)
- Repeat until you feel like yourself and energies have returned to normal
