Tarot Tuesday - Ace of Wands
Hello all!! We're starting a new suite with the Ace of Wands! (Also known as Sticks or Staffs)
The Ace of Wands is associated with the element of Fire and the planet Mars.
Pictured above...
The purpose of this section is to help you with your own interpretations.
In the card pictured above, we can see a a single skeleton hand holding one wand aloft. There appears to be clouds in the background, mostly on the bottom. We can see two very prominent stars to the left of the wand, the larger of the 2 being closer to the top. There are also 4 slightly prominent stars, 1 near the top right, the largest next to the wand on the right, 1 close to the smaller of the very prominent stars and the last is slightly below the bigger less prominent star.
Meaning
The Ace of Wands is a card of creativity. New inspiration will come to you so keep an eye out as it may come to you in an unexpected way! The creative spark that you have been lacking will come. This inspiration may lead to new opportunities. Do not pass up these opportunities! They will lead to the growth you have been looking for to progress forward. All of these things will help you allow you reach your full potential in a specific area and will bring enthusiasm and energy with it to allow you to forge ahead and keep going!
Reversed Meaning
A reversed Ace of Wands isn't terrible, but it's definitely inconvenient. You have the glimmerings of an idea but you are plagued by a lack of direction. This is causing distractions which, in turn, will cause delays. These delays will eventually lead to creative blocks and you will be hesitant to return to the idea, just in case the cycle repeats itself. A lack of passion will arise which will give way to a lack of energy in the creative sphere. You need to go back to the origins of your idea to rekindle the spark. Focus on your idea to keep the creativity alive, don't give up!
