Tarot Tuesday - Five of Wands

Hi guys,

welcome back to Tarot Tuesday.

Today we have the five of wands.

Connected to the element of fire, astrological sign of Leo and the planet Saturn.

The picture above seems to show some form of disagreement between the two figures, but there is no physical contact, and both maintain a firm grip upon their respective wands

I have literally just found out that all fives in the tarot represent some form of conflict.


Upright meaning:

  • Make changes;
  • Not everything is as bad as it seems at first;
  • New opportunities;
  • Fighting against all odds;
  • Inability to move forwards;
  • Loss of personal power

This card suggests that you could feel overwhelmed and caught up in the middle of something you cannot control.

Reversed meaning:

Atypically, this card seems to be far better when reversed.
  • The end of rows
  • The ending of struggles
  • Finding common ground
  • Compromise
  • Co-operation
  • Harmony
  • Taking hold of the situation
