Crystal Wednesday - Fire Crystals

Hi guys,


Continuing with our fire theme this week, and looking into crystals that are linked to the element of fire.

As with the previous weeks, I will do a longer list, then concentrate on just a couple of the crystals. Crystals that we have already covered in one way or another will be linked in the list below (either YouTube or TikTok videos).

Crystals:


Carnelian



A good starting crystal in most collections, this crystal is said to cleanse other crystals that it comes into contact with, and seldom needs cleansing itself (although I still do mine fairly often).
It is a variety of chalcedony with the chemical formula SiO₂ and is from the trigonal crystal system.

Metaphysical properties:

  • Protection from psychic attack
  • Balancing
  • Grounding
  • Removes negative energies and emotions
  • Protection
  • Wealth
  • Wisdom
  • Combats fatigue, both physical and mental
  • Positive attitude

  • Strengthens the immune system

Red Jasper



As with most jaspers, this is a very grounding stone.

As above, it is a form of chalcedony with the chemical formula SiO₂, it is the other impurities in the ground when this is formed that change the colour and structure. Unlike above, though, this is part of the hexagonal crystal system, rather than the trigonal.
