Emporiblog - October New Moon + Partial Solar Eclipse 2022

Hello all!! We will be having a slightly longer Moon post today!!


Apologies for no blog posts over the weekend, work overtook me!

Yes, I am a day early with this on, as the new moon is actually tomorrow at 11.29 BST, but I thought that I would do it up a day early so we can continue with our Tarot Tuesday as normal tomorrow.

This month's New Moon in Scorpio ♏ will be accompanied by a partial Solar Eclipse!

The solar eclipse, well, a partial one at least, makes this a rather difficult moon to navigate through.

There is a lot of intrigue and mystery around this time, especially in sexual matters. Scorpio is the revealer of all things taboo, so expect vulnerabilities to be shown as hidden desires and emotions become seen. 

As a water sign, Scorpio is very guarded with their emotions, but this is not a time for that. As the new moon enters Scorpio, we can expect everything that is hidden, pent-up, or otherwise pushed down to bubble to the surface. This can be quite disconcerting, especially if we become emotionally triggered by a person or event.

The solar eclipse makes things a lot more interesting!
It changes the energy of the new moon, so don't be trying to manifest anything with this new moon, and keep those crystals safely tucked away!

As the solar eclipse is conjunct to Venus, there is a new path ahead for your heart, any romance, and your deepest desires. Venus is the planet that rules love, so expect new romantic challenges to head your way. 

So, instead of trying to manifest what you don't have this new moon, assess what you do have: focus on your passions and your romantic connections, and use this time to focus on whether or not your needs are actually being met in this area. 

Do you feel that you are seen, heard and allowed to grow in your relationships? If not, this eclipse with the new moon tells us that it is time to move on.


It is also the beginning of Diwalli, the Hindu festival of lights, aloo celebrated by some Buddhists, Jains, and Sikhs.
