Tarot Tuesday - Complex Etteilla Spread

Hello all! We're breaking up the Tarot Tuesday posts a bit with a few spreads before going onto our final suit. This works out well since I have a subscription to a Tarot magazine, which have lots of spreads in them!


This featured spread comes from Total Tarot pt 46


This is a 6 card spread but the layout is quite simple and is still good for beginners or those looking to advance from daily tarot pulls or 3 card spreads. This isn't a specific question spread and is mostly used as an overview to better picture what is going on with the person who's having the reading.The cards are as follows:

1 - The Home. This card shows the energy/environment around the person 

2 - The Person. Card 2 represents the person themselves 

3 - The Symptom. This card shows what the person sees as the problem 

4 - The Problem. The actual problem (card 3 may or may not be obscuring it)

5 - The Advice. This is what the person needs to do to improve things and reach their goals 

6 - The Message. The last card is a message and/or suggestion for the person that will give a little nudge in the right direction when it's needed

Hello all! Today's post is kind of a serious one. Looking back through some of our previous posts, I have realised that some of the information that I gave is in fact, incorrect ! This post will hopefully set the record straight. The previous posts will still stand to serve as a reminder to always cross-reference and research thoroughly to avoid the mistakes that I made. Correction 1  ROSEMARY IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR ANY HERB!  Rosemary can only be substituted for herbs that it shares properties with. And, while we're here: - Rose cannot be substituted for any flower. Only the ones it shares properties with - Frankincense and Copal cannot be substituted for any incense/oil/gum resin.
