New Moon + Lion's Gate

Hello all!! Today's post is about the New Moon and Lion's Gate!! You can view our previous New Moon blog here  👉🏻  New Moon


This New Moon will be in Leo ♌ with triple Leo energies!! The Sun, Moon and Lion's Gate will all be in Leo so buckle up, there's a tremendous amount of energy on the way!! 


What this means...

The Lion's Gate Portal always peaks on the 8th of August every year, this year's Portal peak just happened to coincide with the New Moon!

The portal opens up every year, starting on July 28th and ending on August 12th but August 8th is considered the official activation due to the energies released. Lots of energies are released at this time due to the Sun being in Leo and the star Sirius (which is known as the Spiritual Sun) is closest to the Earth whilst aligning with Orion's Belt. When this happens, new levels of consciousness wash over the planet and us, giving us the accelerated energy to rise to the next level of spiritual growth although, this may be uncomfortable for some. The Leo traits of courage, strength and expression will be enhanced during this time

Another reason why the energies are so potent is the date itself. In numerology, the number 8 represents infinity. It's energy is empowerment and supports manifestation in the material world. 8 will amplify anything that it's energies are focused on.

What to do

Today will be draining for a lot of us so here are some things to do:

- Get prepared!! Gather all the supplies you may need

- Make a list of things you want to manifest

- Take your time, don't rush yourself today

- Allow yourself some downtime, you'll need it!!

- Meditate to calm yourself if you need to

- Stay hydrated, make Moon Water! 

- Rest and unplug from as many devices as you can

- Try not too do anything too draining

- Cleanse/Charge items

- Use orange candles in your rituals

- Have a dream journal handy

- Document in your journal how you're feeling today
