Emporiblog - Colour Magic
Hello all!! Today we will be discussing Colour Magic!!
Everything in magic has some sort of meaning and Colours are no exception!! Each Colour has it's own energies, uses and associations. Using Colours in your rituals/Spells can boost its power or bring energies/manifestations into your home. Colour Magic also applies to make-up, nail art and hair dye! Some Deities have Colour associations but it's best to do your own research to make sure you're honouring said Deity correctly.
To keep it simple, I'll be focusing on block colours as it'll take me forever to get through every subtle shade!

Now, let's have a look at the Colours and their meanings...
Yellow
Yellow is often associated with happiness and warmth as it is associated with the Sun and Summer. Yellow is also seen as an intellectual and knowledgeable Colour. It can also be used to stir up inspiration and the imagination.
In Magic, it can be used to aid in communication which ties in with Divination and Deities. Due to being associated with knowledge, Yellow can also be used in studying/academic Spells, if you have an important exam coming up, try adding some shade of Yellow to your ensemble whilst your revising and when it's time for your exam (within your school's/workplace's dress code of course.) Yellow can also give a much needed confidence boost to those who require one!
Red
Red often gets a bad reputation as it's often depicted around danger and fire but it does have some positive associations. Red is a passionate Colour and can help express intense emotions and desires. It also represents courage and strength, so if you find yourself in need of some extra courage, add something Red to your outfit. When in doubt, Red lipstick!
In Magic, Reds most popular representation is love. It is also a symbol of willpower which will help in Spells to break addictions. Physical energy and health are also associated with Red.
