Tarot Tuesday - Seven of Wands

 Hi guys,

Continuing our Tarot Tuesday today with the seven of wands.

This card is linked to the element of fire, the planet of Mars, and the star sign of Leo.

The card above, courtesy of Cat, shows a figure carrying his wand or staff with the remaining wands behind him. I get a feeling of achievement from this card. As with all achievements, you must expect a little competition.

It is similar in meaning to the five of wands.


Upright Meaning:

  • Perseverance

  • Hold your ground/defend your position
  • Setting boundaries
  • Fight off the competition
  • Protect your financial stability
  • Long term pay-offs
  • Steadfastness
  • Successfully defending your beliefs/success

Reversed meaning:

  • A break-up
  • Overconfidence
  • Overstretching your self
  • Denial
  • Stubbornness 
  • Self-doubt
  • Losing a challenge
