Emporiblog - Storm Water + Different Moons

Hello all! We've covered Moons (more Moons than Jupiter!) and we've covered Storm Water but, we haven't looked at what happens when you combine them!

A recap

Here are some of our relevant posts:

So, the purpose of this post is to look at the different Moon phases and their properties and the properties of Storm Water to see if collecting Storm Water from different Moons changes it's properties.

First off...

Properties Of Storm Water

Storm Water can be used for the following:

- Emotional healing/Strength
- Confidence
- Charging tools/items/Spells
- Protection
- Cleansing
- Curse/Hex casting
- Manifestation
- Chaos Magick

Moon Phases + Associations

There are 8 main Moon phases. Let's see what they'er associated with:

- New Moon. - Intentions, New beginnings/Starting over

- Waxing Crescent Moon. - Friendship, Luck/Success, Wealth, Attraction

- First Quarter Moon. - Calming, Creativity, Motivation, Growth, Strength, Divination

- Waxing Gibbous Moon. - Health, Motivation, Attraction, Success

- Full Moon. - Healing, Love, Cleansing, Charging, Clarity, Banishing

- Waning Gibbous Moon. - Cleansing, Letting go, Undoing spells

- Last Quarter Moon. - Letting go, Breaking habits, Banishing, Curse/Hex breaking

- Waning Crescent Moon. - Success, Balance, Atonement, Gaining wisdom/knowledge, Illness

BONUS PHASE

Dark Moon

The Dark Moon is often confused for the New Moon but it is a completely different Moon. It takes place in Waning Crescent phase during the time when the crescent is last visible before the New Moon and is associated with:

- Divination
- Baneful magick
- Banishing
- Deconstructive Magick
- Shadow Work
- Reflection

In conclusion, I wouldn't say that collecting Storm Water under a Moon changes it's properties but rather adds to or boosts depending on the phase. This can also be applied to other waters collected (safely) at night or left to charge under a Moon.

I think we'll leave this one here! This was a fun one to do

Blessings,
